Zaryadye Park

Zaryadye Park is a new type of public space created by an international team of architects, engineers, landscape designers and other experts. Here the concepts of nature and technology, education and entertainment, history and modernity are united and complement each other.

Zaryadye was conceived as a landmark for the city, an important feature of modern Moscow and the flagship park for the nation. Historical features from the 16th century are found alongside innovative architecture and high-tech attractions. The River Overlook, with its 70-metre-long concrete cantilever, opens up panoramic views of the Kremlin, the river embankment, and the park itself. The Glass Crust is able to create a microclimate of its own, which can shelter the amphitheatre and the garden of heat-loving plants from bad weather. "Zaryadye’s" philharmonic concert hall is one of the most innovative and modern music venues in the world. Ice Cave, where a constant minus temperature is maintained, transfers visitors to the atmosphere of the Far North. The Museum of Nature sounds offers a new way to feel the world around you. Underground museum tells about the history of the place, and educational center The Conservation Embassy developed courses, quests, laboratory classes and workshops for people of all ages, dedicated to the diversity of life on the planet.

Moscow Kremlin

Moscow Kremlin. The tour across the territory with a vision to one of the churches. You can see the King – bell, king –cannon, architectural composition of the Cathedral square: Bell towel « The great Ivan», Uspensky, Arkhangelsky, Blagoveshensky sobors, faceted chambers, Patrriarshy chambers. KOLOMENSKOYE is one of the most ancient places of human habitation within modernMoscow. Archaeological items discovered in its vicinity witness Stone Age (V-III millennium B.C.) settlements once existing here. In old times thevillage ofKolomenskoye nearMoscow came to be directly involved into the historical events known as the Time of Troubles. In1923, a small museum was founded at the historically shaped ensemble of Russian Grand Princes and Tsars’ country estate; this museum was to grow up overtime into a complex Kolomenskoye art and architectural museum-reserve with a total area of254.6 hectares. The unique landscape of Kolomenskoye bears traces of many generations’ life and activities.

The Tretyakov Gallery

The Tretyakov Gallery is the main museum of Russian national art, reflecting its unique contribution to world culture. It is a hospitable museum that is known for its rich collection and variety of presented ideas.

The Tretyakov Gallery has three main goals:

  • To study, preserve, represent and popularise the art of Russia;

  • To form a Russian cultural identity, drawing the attention of society to the important role of art in general and collection in particular. To continue the life-work of P.M.Tretyakov, introducing residents of the country with the national artistic heritage;

  • To make people's lives better by opening wide access to masterpieces of Russian and world art.


In 1979 Tsaritsyno was granted the status of a historical monument and it officially became the Tsaritsyno Museum. In the 1990s major restoration effort was launched and it wasn’t completed until 2007.

The museum owns an extensive collection. Permanent exhibits include Soviet decorative art of the 20th century, traditional arts and crafts of Slavic nations, Russian jewelry of the 16th – 20th centuries, archaeological finds, sculpture and much more. Numerous temporary exhibitions are held at the museum all year round. They are devoted to various periods in the history of Russia and the history of Tsaritsyno itself.


Ensemble Kuskovo, originally owned by the Sheremetev family, as a specimen of a typical 18th century Moscow region residence. The estate was designed as a site for receptions, celebration and other festivities. More than 20 unique monuments of architecture with genuine interiors have been presented including a Dutch House, an Italian House, a Grotto, Greenhouses, others.

Another point of interest in Kuskovo Estate is the only regular French park to have survived in Moscow. There are ponds, canals and Russian and Italian sculptures in it.

The centerpiece of the estate is the Palace residence. Especially interesting is the original planning and ornaments of the interior. This includes superb works of Russian and European art, decorative arts and crafts and unique collection of 18th century paintings, primarily portraits of Russian emperors and several generations of the Sheremetev family.

The Museum possesses one of the largest collections of ceramics and glass from different countries dating from antiquity up to present days.


The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy is the largest exposition, museum and recreational complex in the world, one of the most popular public spaces of the capital city of Russia. Each year, it is visited by about 25 million people.

The Exhibition was opened on 1 August 1939. Its name has changed several times (VSHV, VPV, VDNH USSR, VVC).

In the spring of 2014, the Moscow Government launched a large-scale project to revive VDNH, in honour of the 75th Anniversary of the Country's Main Exhibition. At the initiative of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, and based on the results of e-voting by city residents, the complex was returned its legendary historical name of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy.

Moscow Metro

Moscow metro. We will visit some of the most beautiful stations of the 30-50s and learn a lot of interesting things. When did the first projects of the Moscow metro appear and why was it built later than in other European capitals? Where did the radial-ring scheme of the Moscow metro come from? Looking at the details, we will travel through time and space and try to understand what the metro meant to the Soviet people, learn to see how the era and changes in people's worldview were reflected in the design of the stations.

Museum of Cosmonautics

October 4th, 1964

The Monument to the Conquerors of Space was erected at Prospekt Mira in Moscow. This outstanding city landmark has been jointly designed by architects Michail Barsh and Andrey Kolchin, and sculptor Andrey Faydish-Krandiyevskiy.

September 28th, 1967

Soviet government initiates founding of the Museum of Cosmonautics at the foot of the Monument to the Conquerors of Space to commemorate nation’s achievements in space exploration.

The Museum of Cosmonautics opens its doors to public on April 10th, 1981, 20th Anniversary of the first manned space flight.
